kid never thanks their parents for, but should.
You mean the world to me, Mom and Dad, and I want you to know that I
love you both very much.
To my brother and his wife...Phil, after the age of 8 you became the best brother any
sister could want. LOL! I love you and consider myself very lucky to
have someone like you in my life. Don’t ever change. Mindy, you
are like a sister to me. It would have been fun growing up with you,
and I am glad we at least have the rest of our lives to do that. I love
you, girl. So, campers, when’s our next adventure?
To my grandmother...Gram,
you spoiled me like a rotten egg, and you still do. You are the best!
Thanks so much. I love you, and I know I don’t tell you that
enough.
To Brandy...you are
always there when I need someone. Whether it be a person to talk to or
laugh with, I know I can rely on you to be there. Just the thought of
you makes me smile. You are very talented and an inspiration to me. I
will always love you, woman. Don’t you forget it.
To Sara, Robyn, Teri, Mark, Gary, Carolyn and the
rest of my coworkers...I miss you guys and
think of you often. Thank you ALL for being such good friends. You guys
are like a second family to me. Each and every one of you holds a very
special (and very different) place in my heart. I will never forget the
good times we had together when we were at work, or at play. I
especially miss Marathon and Quake. Scar lives on...somehow.
Hey, when’s Fondue? Take care and keep in
touch, ya bunch of ambulance chasers!!
Lastly and most importantly to my husband, the
love of my life...Brian, thank you so much
for allowing me the opportunity to do what I love and what I have
always wanted to do, but didn’t think I could. I know it’s
hard right now to make ends meet, and often I take for granted the fact
that you bust your butt every day to support this career of mine. I
don’t know what I would do without you in my life. I would be
lost. I want you to know that I realize how hard you are working, and I
want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for not freaking out when
the unemployment checks stopped coming. Your love and support means
more to me than anything. I love you. I love you. I love you, more than
words can ever express.
To my parents...Mom
and Dad, thank you for teaching me about the importance of keeping God
in my life. Thank you for leading by example and inspiring me to be a
better person. Thank you for your unconditional love. Thank you for
letting me be who I wanted to be, even though you may not have agreed
with it sometimes. Thank you for trusting me. Thank you for setting up
the electric trains at Christmas time. Thank you for the keyboard you
gave me for Christmas when I was a child, and for not locking me in the
attic with it when I played it constantly. Thank you for Santa Claus on
the fire truck at 7am on Christmas morning. Thank you for vacations and
camping and trips to the cabin, and for letting us run on the beds for
a few minutes before you yelled for us to stop. Thank you for making me
go along, even though I didn’t want to sometimes. Thank you for
sending Phil to his room when he was a pain in the butt. Thank you for
allowing us to have pets like Rascal and Smokey and Bandit, my guinea
pigs; and Freckles, Shane and Whitney, our crazy dogs. Thank you for
College and for all of your financial support. Thank you for not
getting angry when you found out I got a speeding ticket from the car
insurance company instead of me. Thank you for every little thing that
